Art Journaling has been with me longer than I can remember.
Through my many years of training to be an artist I was always constantly advised to have a sketchbook. The reasons for this are pretty obvious, but yet sometimes it can be easy to forget.
First and foremost, its a displays of our thought process. Couldn’t be more important if you think about the fact you’re a visual artist, right?
Most importantly you can look back and see how your idea’s have developed, or quite simply how your drawings have improved.
My sketchbooks have almost always just been for me. They’re quite private, not particularly ‘pretty’, and not particularly coherent. I want this to change a bit. I will show you my private sketchbooks to give you an insight to my creative process. Good luck making sense of it, because sometimes I don’t myself!
